Carn Pica

Starting at Blaen Y Gwyn UPPER car park 10 am we drop down into lower car park onto loose gravel path, through woods, over footbridges to meet stream, walking alongside the stream (muddy, gaiters and poles a good idea).  There are a series of small waterfalls.  After a break will climb up to Gwalciau’r Cwm.  Then follow ridge to Carn Pica.  After lunch break will cross open moorland to the Wellington Bomber Memorial.  Picking up another path into the Beacons Way.  There’s a steep section dropping back down to the car park.
