Meet at Ystrad Mynach Car park 8.45 am for car sharing

A walk along forest tracks and along the ridge way affording views across the Bristol Channel and of Gilfach Goch.  Descending to Llanharan village before returning to the forest.

Leave A470 at Upper Boat (Tesco’s) and follow the A473 towards Talbot Green.  At Talbot Green Roundabout turn right onto A4119 signposted for Royal Glamorgan Hospital.  Continue past the hospital and the dual carriage way changes to a single carriageway with a speed limit. Continue to the next roundabout and turn sharp left (almost back on yourself).  Follow the lane under a railway bridge.  After about a quarter of a mile the car park is on the right in the woods.
