After 1 mile turn right on the road to Bedlinog.  Car park is on the right. Can also be approached across Gelligaer common from the south. \nThe walk is 8.5 miles and takes us around the head of the Taf Bargoed valley to Bedlinog and then up onto Gelligaer common back to the cars.
