SUMMARY:Nantgarw - Groeswen Circular
DESCRIPTION:A 5 mile walk on tarmac surfaces avoiding rain soaked ground. The route takes us up the Penrhos Cutting.  We walk through the estate\, alongside the lake and then follow Gypsy Lane up to Groeswen.  The route brings us back down to our start point. \nThe starting point is a new one in Tawelfryn\, Nantgarw. Follow the Caerphilly by-pass towards the A 470.  After the Garden Centre Roundabout follow the dual carriageway but turn right at the traffic lights into the housing estate and then immediately left.  (Some  will remember this as the old Caerphilly-Nantgarw road).  Alternatively coming along the A470\,\, leave at the Nantgarw turn off and follow the Caerphilly road  up to the traffic lights. \nhttps://what3words.com///prom.indeed.prefer \nThis walk is based on the route of the Red Kite pub walk which we did several years ago.
