SUMMARY:Foxhunter's Walk
DESCRIPTION:An 8 mile moderate walk starting from the Foxhunter Car Park on the Blorenge near Blaenavon \nhttps://what3words.com///squad.protect.narrating \nMeet at Ystrad Mynach Car park at 9:00 for car sharing or at the walk stat for a 10:00 departure \nThe route takes us across the Blorenge and descends to the Devil’s Punch Bowl.  We then walk along the side of the mountain following the old tram road. .  We then take a diagonal path which leads us to Keeper’s Pond.  The walk takes us across the common back to the start.  (On previous walks there has been a convenient ice cream van somewhere near Keepers Pond!!) \nFor those who have walked this previously there are two point to note \n\n We will start from the Foxhunter Car Park rather than Keeper’s Pond (which tends to be popular with open water swimmers)\n By taking the diagonal path off the tram road we will avoid the rather steep climb at the very top of the valley back to Keeper’s Pond
